Hemp Broccoli Soup


  • 1/2 small onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • large head of broccoli
  • 1-2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cups vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup hemp seeds
  • 2 tablespoons toasted hemp seeds (optional)


Dice the onion and garlic. Cut the broccoli, including the stem and any leaves into small pieces

Heat a small pot with olive oil then add the onion and garlic. Saute for 2 mins.

Add the broccoli and saute for another 2-3 mins.

Add the vegetable stock and bring to the boil.

Add the hemp seeds and place on a simmer and cover. Cook for 15-20 mins.

Take off the heat, blend till smooth. Top with toasted hemp seeds.
