Hemp, Chia and Flax Protein Bars

 

Hemp, Chia and Flax Protein Bars

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups organic oats, flax, chia and red quinoa blend (gluten-free, if needed)
  • 1 cup organic hemp seeds
  • 8 tbs vanilla hemp protein powder (or flavor of your choice)
  • 3/4 cups organic almonds (freshly ground in tiny pieces)
  • 1/2 cup organic applesauce
  • 3/4 cups organic peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup organic coconut oil (melted/liquid)

Instructions

  • Mix dry ingredients (oats blend, hemp seeds, protein powder and almonds)
  • Melt coconut oil, let cool and add peanut butter and applesauce
  • Mix dry and wet ingredients and press into a 8 x 8 pan
  • Stick in fridge or freezer until hardened
  • Cut into 12 bars
