WEEKLY RECIPE- Hemp Tahini Bars

Delicious Hemp Tahini Bars


2/3 cup raw tahini – you can use roasted if you prefer (I make my own so I can reduce the amount of oil in it)

1 cup raw hemp hearts

1 cup medjool dates – chopped

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/2 tsp sea salt

1 cup steel cut oats (blend slightly prior to mixing in)


  1. Blend tahini with hemp hearts. Add chopped dates, maple syrup and sea salt. Finally add steel cut oats 1/2 cup at a time.
  2. Prepare a square baking dish by lining with parchment paper (or use a spray oil). Press the mixture into pan, making sure to push it into the corners. I grated a tiny bit of dark chocolate on top
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 325˚F
  4. Cut into 12 bars and enjoy!
